"What happens when they turn 21?"
A simple question Kelsey asked at age 18 during a summer job supporting students on accessible transportation.
What happens when they graduate from adapted sports, Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) and other programs within the school system?
It was these questions that sparked the vision of a business that would serve the adult community by combining Nutrition Education, Social, Spiritual and Physical Health.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, a Master of Education: Physical Education, Health Education and Developmental Adapted Physical Education, and years of experience coaching, training, and mentoring, Kelsey’s heart for service and unique skillset are a blessing to individuals with disabilities and caretakers alike.
At InControl we’re proud to be a black owned business, nurtured by Kelsey’s deep faith in Christ.
In 2016, while listening to the Kirk Franklin gospel song, “Still InControl”, the name InControl was chosen. In hopes to inspire adults with disabilities bolster their confidence in the Lord and grasp control of their wellness.
It is our mission to develop independently healthy adults with disabilities using the pillars of wellness. Our mission is firmly planted in the truth found in the bible;Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
