You are eligible to apply for Medical Assistance if you have a certified disability through the State Medical Review Team (SMRT) or the Social Security Administration (are receiving Social Security disability benefits).

What happens after you submit an application
If you apply online through MNsure, you will usually find out right away if you qualify.
If you apply online or with a paper application, and we need more information to decide if you can get coverage, you will get a letter in the mail telling you what information we need.
As soon as your Medical Assistance application is approved, you can apply for a CDCS waiver!
